Euphonic Tremolo captures the feel of three classic optical circuits: a small, vintage black-panel combo amp, a modern boutique recreation of the amps of old, and an analog optical stompbox. The three optical circuits combine with a harmonic circuit to complete the package.
Rate changes the speed of the tremolo. Depth determines how deep the tremolo goes. A waveform selector provides different LFO options for the effect. Pan the tremolo into stereo for dramatic effect or subtle stereo motion. Alter the phase of the tremolo to morph between Harmonic and Optical tremolo sounds. Sync the pulses to the music.
The advanced functions offer even more control. Change the frequency at which the harmonic tremolo pulses. Set it in motion so the frequency drifts over time. Control the tremolo with your playing so that every loud strum or chord punches through the mix before the tremolo takes over. Use the input level to move the Phase, Ramp, and/or Pan knobs to a different setting during loud or quiet sections.
Sections of this plugin are available as modules in the FX Console, where they can be wired to sections of any other effect.
